Fallin' For Iceland

Who goes to Iceland in January?! That's right, my mom and I. And believe it or not, the coldest temperature we experienced on our trip was 20° F! I hate to break it to you, Wisconsinites, but yes, Iceland is really more than 30° F warmer than the cheese state right now.

Going to Iceland with my mom was the perfect start to my semester abroad. I was in a brand new place but with the person who knows me better than anyone else. We spent our time in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, and visiting the Golden Circle. (Click on the tabs below to learn more about each one!) We laughed, we learned, and maaaybe cried when our time together was over and I was off to Amsterdam and my mom back to O'Hare.
